‘Coffee and Catch up’ sessions

At these sessions we will sometimes have a representative from the Mental Health Support Team known as MHST (who are linked to CAMHS) and also the School Nursing Team along with school staff.

Referrals can be completed for parenting support with Ms Woodford (Inclusion Lead/Assistant Head) during this session and this can be either an ‘SOS’ phone call from the Family Support Team or a referral to Parenting Courses such as ‘Nurture Links’.

You can also be signposted for sites which give useful help and advice, as well as local support groups.

Referrals can also be made should you need support with accessing Food Banks or need financial/debt support through the Early Help Hub.

Advice can be sought around toileting, behaviour, sleep routine, emotional well-being from both the MHST or Nurse Team.

They will be available throughout the session if you would like to ask questions, raise concerns etc. You can request to meet in private should you prefer this.

This will also be a chance to meet other parents and carers, and enable you to chat, share ideas and support each other, especially if you are new to the school community.

There is no need to book, just come to the school office at 9am to sign in and school staff will take you through to the hall. There will be no obligation to stay for the whole hour. Younger children are also welcome.

Hot/cold drinks provided with biscuits of course!
